WHAT IS NETWORK?

 A network consists of two or more computers that are linked in order to share resources exchange files or communication.  They may be connected through cables telephone lines radio waves satellite or infrared light beams.

 The process of or practice of transporting and exchanging data or information and having communication between connected nodes over a shared medium.

INTERNET AND ITS HISTORY

 ·      The full form of internet is "internetworking".

·      Collection of networks is internet.

·      The first Internet prototype is ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network).

·      It was designed for US defense.

·      Tim Berners Lee introduced www concepts and started web.
